Playa del Rey, California

Ashley and Jay were such a joy and one of my first maternity clients back in 2019! Transitioning from e-commerce product photography to photographing people was intimidating yet soo gratifying. We all started out a little nervous , Ashley and Jay unsure how to pose in front of the camera, and, me referencing maternity inspiration on my phone as the shoot went along. It was a challenge for me to work on my directional skills for posing and interacting with couples in this capacity. But, we all have to start somewhere! Luckily my fake-it-until-you-make-it confidence mentality paid off and their comfortability in front of the camera grew as the shoot went along. These beautiful photos will always have a special place in my heart.

Los Angeles, California

Tight wedding spaces call for fun camera angles! Mr. & Mrs. Jimenez tied the knot at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center in Los Angeles. The ceremony was tucked into the Pine Wind Japanese Garden and the reception took place in the Torino Festival Plaza. As someone who adores natural light, it was lovely to photograph entirely outside!

Temecula, California

Two of my best friends wed in a very intimate wedding ceremony in Temecula, California. I felt blessed to be the only friend invited (well, hired) to witness their 10 year long dating journey transition to marriage! With happy tears from moms, dads and siblings, the love was palpable. It was nice to have comfortability with the engaged couple and led to more intimate moments captured. With couples that I am not yet friends with, I recommend a coffee date or Zoom beforehand so we can achieve that comfortability and capture allllll those special moments.

La Jolla, California

Nancy and Marcus wed in a beautiful ceremony in La Jolla, California. The couple had married previously at a courthouse wedding during Covid 2020; it was such an enjoyment to see them share this milestone alongside family and friends!
